Hi! I (Notes By J) welcome your input and accept material for review.
Please know that I prefer to add titles to book lists versus single book reviews. These book lists circulate better for both Notes by J as well as the author and publisher.
On occasion, I will review a title, fully. I am honest and critical in my reviews. Ocassionally, I will post a review for a book that did not work for me, but I will strive to identify strengths and readers who may enjoy the book.
Notes By J’s Book Review Policy
Book formats: I will accept ebooks (when requested via Netgalley) , physical copies and audio books. Pitches including unrequested e-books will not be opened.
Genres of interest:
Adult, Young Adult, and Middle Grade: contemporary fiction, fantasy, science fiction, dystopian, coming-of-age, mystery/thriller, historical fiction, and romance are favorites. I have a particular interest in reviewing booksfeaturing LGBTQIA+ representation or about LGBTQIA+ issues.
Genres not of interest:
Please do not pitch morality tales or religious/inspirational fiction.
